Free updates available driver

This software updates Mac OS X 10.3, 10.3.1, 10.3.2, 10.3.3, or 10.3.4 to version 10.3.5. The 10.3.5 Update delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability for Mac OS X v10.3 Panther and is recommended for all users.

Key enhancements include: Improved support for NTFS formatted volumes. Improves reliability for user logins and mounting of home directories in a networked environment. Updated ATI and NVIDIA graphics drivers. Improved Bluetooth compatibility for Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse and Bluetooth phones. Additional FireWire and USB device compatibility. Improved font management. Updated Mail and Image Capture applications. Improved compatibility for third party applications. This update also includes the previous standalone security updates.

This firmware is for either the Nomad with no memory installed (2.00.19a) or with 32 & 64 MB installed (3.04).

Mac OS 7.6.1 is a maintenance release for Mac OS 7.6 users. This release corrects a variety of problems that have emerged since the initial release of Mac OS 7.6 in January. Included in this update is the CFM-68K Runtime Enabler for 68030- and 68040-based Macintosh computers. Type 11 errors have also been eliminated on PowerPC machines, as they now report the proper error message instead of the generic Type 11 error. Finally, PowerBook users will benefit from a wide variety of bug fixes and compatibility updates for PC cards and serial port use. If you are using any of the following computers you should not install this update: Macintosh Performa 4400 or a Power Macintosh 4400, 5500, 6500, 7300, 8600, or 9600 series computer. Connectivity Plug-in up-date for the Stylus Pro 5500, 7600DYE, 7600UCM, 9600DYE, 9600UCM, 10000DYE, 10000CF, 10600UCM standard Mac OS X Epson printer driver installed prior to January 01, 2004.

This change updates the standard Epson driver interface plug-ins ONLY that were included as part of the Epson MAC OS X driver already installed.

NOTE: Should you need to reinstall the Epson Printer Driver after this up-date, you will need to re-applied the update again afterward to update the drivers standard plug-ins.

The Power Macintosh G3 Firmware Update version 1.0.2 should be installed on all blue & white Power Macintosh G3 or Macintosh Server G3 systems. Features delivered with this update include improved performance of PCI devices including built-in FireWire ports, improved support of NetBooting, and minor improvements to Open Firmware for Mac OS X Server.
