Security Update 2004-08-09 delivers a number of security enhancements and is recommended for all Macintosh users. This update includes the following components: libpng (Portable Network Graphics)

It is not necessary to upgrade to this version if your existing version works well. The 3200 dpi medium format support only applies to the Precision II scanner shipping prior to 12/99. Do not attempt to re-callibrate your scanner to 3200 dpi if your scanner already has this optical underline in the ColorFlex resolution drop down menu. Additionally, the Precision 1 is NOT upgradeable to 3200 dpi. Any attempt to do so may damage your scanner's optical zooming system. When upgrading to this version from 1.8.x or earlier it is recommended that you install it in a new folder. Custom settings that were made with earlier versions should be dragged from the old Settings folder to the folder named User Defined located in the 1.9 settings folder. You should not run any newer and older version at any time on the same computer. Trash the ColorFlex preference file before starting the new software installation. Upgrade to OS 8.5 and ColorSync 2.6.1 is a must. Do not attemp to install this software on your system without meeting those requirement.

PPrefs allows you to save sets of preferences for the buttons on your Palm OS device and system sound levels. For instance, you might name a set "Quiet" for use in meetings, with all of the sound levels set to "Off", have another set called "Normal", which you would use at other times, and a third set called "Games", which would change the buttons so that you can switch easily between PScore and PPick, to roll dice and keep score for a game. Instead of having to go to the Preferences screen and set each preference separately, you can save different groups of preferences with a name in PPrefs, and easily switch between them.

This is a maintainance release of the FibreBridge 1100D firmware that can be flashed from a MAC. This file is in Bin Hex format so that it can be downloaded to a PC, and then transferred to a MAC. It must be unzipped before flashing. It is recommended that you use Bridge Tools version 2.02 to flash the FibreBridge 1100D.
