In response to initial customer and developer feedback, Apple has made improvements to its Universal Serial Bus (USB) software for iMac customers. The iMac Update 1.1 includes these improvements, which enhance the experience with many USB peripherals, as well as enhancements previously released in iMac Update 1.0. While Apple suggests that every iMac user install this update, it notes that only those using additional USB devices other than the Apple USB keyboard and Apple USB mouse included with the iMac are likely to notice the improvements after installation. This version improves the identification of USB devices during start-up and more.

Note: You must install the iMac Firmware Update before installing the iMac Update 1.1.

The Timy is a handy device, fully loaded with high-quality technology. This makes it unique in its class. The memory of the Timy is also gigantic. It can store up to 15.000 times. All memory times can be scrolled on the display, or transmitted to a PC by RS 232 or USB interface.

VST FireWire Support is designed to run with Apples "FireWire Support" and "FireWire Enabler" extensions version 2.2.2 and later. Locate these files in the Extensions Folder of your startup drive and choose the "Get Info" command from the File menu to be sure they are up-to-date. Based on customer feedback, we have made improvements to our software for VST FireWire Hard Drives and Zip Drives. The FireWire VST Disk Support Version extension replaces any prior versions of FireWire VST HD/Zip Driver and the VST FireWire HD Driver Version 1.0.

After upgrading the firmware from 1.0.x to 1.1.2 and restarting your NetShuttle DSL, it is necessary to restore the factory settings. This can be done by clicking the "restore" button on the administration page of the browser user interface. Subsequently, you will have to re-configure your NetShuttle DSL once again, this is however necessary as important changes have been made in this version. This procedure will not be necessary for future updates.
