The current MacOS X beta driver 1.0b1 for 590 card will support PowerMac G3 and G4 . The next beta driver version will support PowerMac Dual G4.

Mac OS 8.1 offers faster Java performance and tighter integration with Internet Explorer. However, you can still use the Web browser of your choice. Mac OS 8.1 supports the new Extended Volume Format for hard disks (also known as HFS+), an option for PowerPC users only.
