Precise 100 AX: Precise 100 AX is a fingerprint reader for PC and network access control. Fingerprints replace passwords and make the logon procedure quick and easy for the user. By using Precise 100 AX, it is possible to achieve an increased level of security in line with existing IT policies while saving time and money on password administration issues.

Available in this download is the latest BIOS update for Abit AT7-MAX2 motherboard. The update features support for AMD Athlon XP2400+ and XP2600+, provides a CPU multiplier up to 22X in SoftMenu, enhances DDR333 stability when enhance DRAM performance enabled. Version eb has added AMD Duron 1400(133)/1600(133)/1800(133) support. Fixed the issue that the system occasionally hangs at post code 26 if the system is using 133/166 FSB CPU and the power was turned off during boot up procedure when the post code is AE. HPT 374 BIOS version 1.23.

Gutenprint 5.2.4, formerly named Gimp-Print, is such a useful suite of printer drivers that may be used with most common UNIX print spooling systems, including CUPS, lpr, LPRng, or others.

These drivers provide high quality printing for UNIX (including Macintosh OS X 10.2 and above) and Linux systems that in many cases equal or exceed proprietary vendor-supplied drivers in quality and functionality, and can be used for demanding printing tasks requiring flexibility and high quality. This software package includes an enhanced Print plug-in for the GIMP that replaces the plug-in packaged with the GIMP, and Ghostscript and CUPS drivers, as well as Foomatic data supporting the Ghostscript driver.

Major Features:

1. The packaging for Mac OS X has been changed:
   • Printer PPDs are no longer included in the download. The PPDs will be created during the installation process. This will add several minutes to the installation process. This change will reduce the download by over 30 MB.
   • There are now separate binaries for Leopard (OS X 10.5). The proper files will automatically be instlled based on the version of OS X on the boot disk.
2. New printers supported in this release:
   • Canon PIXMA iX4000.
   • Canon SELPHY CP-520.
   • EPSON Stylus Photo R2880.
   • EPSON Stylus DX4000.
3. Printing to the Epson PM-D600 has been corrected.
4. Printing to the EPSON Artisan 700 and 800 and Stylus Photo P/TX700 and 800 series printers has been corrected. Among other issues, it should now be possible to print reliably using the photo tray.
5. The names of the following Epson printers have been corrected:
   • EPSON Stylus Photo PX700W
   • EPSON Stylus Photo TX700W
   • EPSON Stylus Photo PX800FW
   • EPSON Stylus Photo TX800FW
6. The names of various Ricoh and Ricoh-based printers have been corrected to match Ricoh's model names and the OpenPrinting database.
7. Printing resolution names have been fixed in non-English locales in CUPS PPD files.
8. A Russian translation has been added. The Danish and Italian translations have been updated.
9. Support has been added for L-size paper with tear-off borders.
10. The ordering of inks in quadtone ink sets on Epson printers has been corrected. In addition, support has been added for MIS quadtone and 6 tone inks.
11. It is now possible to adjust the ink parameters for quadtone inks in CUPS. Previously, these parameters could only be adjusted in the enhanced Print plugin for GIMP and other native Gutenprint applications.
12. Updating CUPS PPD files is now faster.

This update delivers similar fixes and enhancements found in the client version of the Mac OS X 10.2.6 Update. The issues described below are relevant in a server setting, but you must also update the client computers.

Software installation is now more reliable for client computers that are installing from a file located on a remote Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) server volume. AFP client copy reliability has been improved, resolving an issue in which a file could have become unusable after copying via AFP in certain circumstances. A rare condition in which users cannot complete the login process has been addressed. CUPS printing for Hewlett Packard LaserJet 8150 DN laser printer has also been improved, allowing full text and image print by default.

Description: This software updates 4-port and 8-port Tempo SATA host controller cards' flash ROM (firmware) to version 2.1.3. This version fixes an issue that occurred when the user attempted to erase a volume in a RAID 1 (mirrored) set.
