This update will correct issues affecting some Java users following the installation of Mac OS X v10.3.9 Software Update. After updating to Mac OS X 10.3.9, some systems may have issues with Java applications and Java-enabled websites when using Safari. Safari may unexpectedly quit, and standalone Java applications may unexpectedly quit or not launch. This update resolves that issue.

This is the latest Mac OS update from Apple that improves Classic application compatibility in Mac OS X and delivers updated support for Macintosh systems that are based on the PowerPC G3 or G4 processor.

The 10.3.3 Server Update delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability for Mac OS X Server v10.3 and is recommended for all systems. Key enhancements include:- improved reliability of AFP, SMB/CIFS and NFS file services; - enhanced Server Admin, Workgroup Manager and Network Image Utility applications; - improved Open Directory authentication performance, Active Directory integration and Kerberos support; - updated QuickTime streaming and broadcast services for compatibility with 3G phones; - added support for background rebuilding of RAID mirrors, and network VLAN tagging; - updated to Samba version 3.0.2 and MySQL version 4.0.18; - improved PostScript and USB printing; - additional support for FireWire and USB devices; - improved compatibility for third party applications and devices; - previous standalone security updates.

Iomega CopyDisk replaces the default disk copy utility found in Windows and adds support for Iomega drives. Version 4.0.2 offers Iomega Zip 750MB Drive support.

This installer will place a PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file on your system and allow you to use your printer with Mac OS X version 10.0.3 or higher. Mac OS X version 10.0.3 has very limited support for PPDs. Apple has assured Minolta-QMS and other printer manufacturers that they are working to improve PPD support in future versions of Mac OS X.

This software updates Mac OS X Server 10.2, 10.2.1, 10.2.2, 10.2.3, 10.2.4, or 10.2.5 to version 10.2.6. It is a "combo" update that combines enhancements delivered with versions 10.2.1 through 10.2.6. If you already have Mac OS X Server 10.2.5, you may download a smaller update that is not a combo.

The 10.2.6 Server Update delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability to the following applications, services, and technologies: Mac OS Extended file system journaling, software RAID, Fibre Channel and SCSI device support, AFP, SMB, and NFS file services, print services, Apache, Mail, QuickTime Streaming Server, Open Directory, NetBoot, Network Install, Workgroup Manager, and Macintosh Manager.

The iMac Firmware Update 4.1.9 will only run on iMac computers with slot-loading CD or DVD drives running Mac OS 9.1 or later from a local drive. If you are using Mac OS X you must boot from a local Mac OS 9.1 or later writeable partition (not a CD, or network disk) prior to following the update instructions.
