Free ericsson gprs modem scripts driver

These scripts works with all Sony Ericsson and Ericsson GPRS models as well as the Philips Fisio 820 (which is made by Ericsson) - PLEASE READ THE README FILE.

You can get information on the correct GPRS settings for some networks here.

These scripts are for the Timeport (e.g. T260, T280, T720), V-series (e.g. V60 GPRS models, V66, V600), Accompli series (e.g. A008) and any subsequent models supporting GPRS for 'always-on' Internet access.

Available in this download are the latest modem scripts for the Teleport internal 56k modem by Global Village.

These scripts allow a 6210 and other Nokia HSCSD phones to connect at HSCSD speeds. It appears that most GSM networks where HSCSD is available don't support 43.2k, but 28.8k works. It's all to do with the speed of the data channels (9.6 or 14.4), the number of channels they will allow you to use (4 or 6 total) and how they are split between receive and transmit (2 and 2 or 3 and 1, for example). The V.110 and V.120 (ISDN-type) scripts can report connect speeds of up to 56k - at present, I'm not sure how realistic those are.

These scripts allow any Windows Mobile smartphone, such as an iPAQ, to be used with a Mac as a wireless modem. They work with both GSM and CDMA models.

To use these files with OSX, you will need to move these files into the Modem Scripts folder, inside the Library folder, within the root directory of the hard drive. A restart is normally required. Go to System Properties ->Network-> Modem , select the proper script / CCL for your hardware.
