3dhq 1.09 Beta 5 Voodoo 3 Driver

This is the fifth beta release of the 3dhq 1.09 drivers for Voodoo3 cards under Windows 2000/XP. NOTE TO XP USERS: The drivers may not work when first installed. If this is the case, you must uninstall them and all previous 3dfx software from your computer, including registry entries and drivers from your system32 folder. This may require selecting a generic or incorrect driver in Device Manager and rebooting, to allow complete removal of all 3dfx files and information from your PC. This is an odd quirk with some people's systems. Once this has been done and the drivers successfully installed (run DXDIAG to test D3D - if only the DX7 test works, they're not properly installed, if DX7 and DX8 tests run, they are installed correctly) following releases will not require this step; it is apparently a one-time only issue of getting Windows XP to accept the new DLL series. When installed correctly, these drivers fix many issues in D3D and OpenGL games as well as noticably increasing D3D performance in many titles.
