Initially, supply was only to larger system assemblers and integrators who re-badged Octek systems and components and marketed them under different names. To offer better service to the Australian market, Ocean Hong Kong set up the Australian subsidiary, Ocean Office Automation. Ocean Office Automation Pty Ltd commenced operations here in Australia in February 1992, with its head office based in Sydney. Since t hen, Ocean Office Automation has grown to service in excess of 1000 active dealers right across the country.
